Hamza is an interdisciplinary movement artist with a background in physical theatre and performance-making practices. He combines physical performance with creative expression to create, direct, facilitate, and perform movement.
Movement direction credits include 10 Nights (UK Tour), Duck (Arcola Theatre), Going For Gold (Chelsea Theatre), For One More Day to Live (Theatre Peckham), Daytime Deewane (Half Moon Theatre) and Statues (Barbican).
He has recently staged two successful original productions, Bhai (The Place) and 1518 (Greenside, EdFringe). In 2024 he was resident director for Dante or Die’s Kiss Marry Kill.
Hamza offers facilitation through specialised individual movement coaching for performers, and movement workshops for groups. He has facilitated for theatres including LUNG and Kiln, and has taught at the National Youth Theatre where he is an associate artist.
A recipient of the Embassy Scholarship, he graduated with an MA in Movement from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and continues to movement-direct there as a visiting professional for the BA Acting MT course.
Hamza is currently undergoing training in puppetry and has so-far trained with Paper Puppets, Matthew Forbes, Autin Dance Theatre and Mikey Brett.

Movement Coaching: One-to-one sessions coaching performance skills in physical ability and creative expression for performers, artists, and corporate clients.
Movement Direction: Comprehensive provision of movement service for any creative project. Including, character work, choreography and technical elements.
Movement Consultancy: Focussed sessional service for a specific project need in either creative or non-creative sector.
